Free Ride To WWII Memorial for Veterans and Spouses
posted July 4, 2008
The WWII Memorial is difficult to reach -- especially if you (or your spouse) are old enough to have served in WWII. No Metro
trains or buses stop close-by. No parking area.
Enter brother Mike McMorrow. If you are a WWII vet, or the spouse of a WWII Vet, and need a ride directly to and from YOUR Memorial, contact Mike to arrange a day and time. He takes you there, leaves for up to an hour, and returns for pick-up. Entire trip takes 1.5 - 2.0 hours.
Contact: m.j.mcmorrow@verizon.net; or (703) 241-0894.
UPDATE: Mike's good work gets a write-up in the Herald! Read the Article
